Isaiah 6:3

Isaiah 6:3
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Today’s verse is from the vision that Isaiah had the year that king Uzziah died. He saw the LORD sitting upon a throne in the temple, high and lifted up, surrounded by Seraphim who worshipped Him, calling out “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory”. It does us good to consider what an awesome God we serve; a God without a trace of anything sinful or wrong. Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 6:16 that God is immortal, “dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto”. How then, can sinners such as we are, wretched and steeped in sin, ever approach unto such and awesome God? It seems impossible; BUT THERE IS A WAY! Jesus made it possible. That is why He died on the cross; in order to take away our sin and to clothe us in His righteousness. We dare not approach God pleading our own righteousness, but the Bible teaches us that when we repent and believe in Jesus, that He becomes our Savior, our sin is transferred to Him on the cross, and we become clothed in HIS righteousness. Hebrews 10:19,20 tells us that we have “boldness to enter into the Holy Place by the blood of Jesus. What can we say to these things but “Hallelujah!”?
